Supporting Policies

This document describes additional governance policies that apply to use of the DataWell website, demo environments, and proof-of-concept services provided by Versai Labs. It supplements, but does not replace, the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or GDPR Compliance Statement, which remain separate and binding documents.

1. Cookie Policy

1.1 What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit our website.

1.2 Types of Cookies Used

Strictly necessary cookies – required for core site functionality (e.g., form submission, session management).
Functional cookies – used to remember user preferences.
Performance/analytics cookies – used to measure system performance and detect security issues.

1.3 Consent

On your first visit, you are presented with a cookie banner. You may accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customize settings. Consent is stored to ensure GDPR and ePrivacy compliance.

2. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

When using the Services, you must not:

Access, or attempt to access, areas of the Services without authorization.
Upload unlawful, malicious, or third-party confidential data.
Interfere with or disrupt the availability, integrity, or performance of the Services.
Use the Services for benchmarking or developing competing products.
Circumvent or disable security features.
Share login credentials or permit unauthorized access.
Use the Services in violation of applicable laws or regulations.

Violations of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of access.

3. Export Control and Trade Compliance

You agree to comply with all applicable export control, sanctions, and trade laws, including those of the European Union and the United States.

You may not use the Services in jurisdictions subject to comprehensive sanctions.
You may not export, re-export, or transfer the Services in violation of law.

4. Security Overview

Versai Labs applies industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect customer data:

Hosting on Google Cloud Platform with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certifications.
Encrypted transmission (TLS/SSL).
Strict access controls, limited to authorized personnel.
Regular security reviews and monitoring.

5. Data Retention Overview

Demo and POC data: retained only for the duration of the engagement and erased within 30 days after completion.
Support communications: retained for up to 12 months.
Telemetry data: processed in memory only and discarded immediately after analysis.
